My all-time favorite New York Movie is Professional.

The first thing I did after I moved to the city – visited his Apartment on 96 street.

Then – his office at 511 9th Avenue.

I watched this movie so many times. Now it feels like a story I have personally experienced.

I enjoyed this movie too. Especially the SWAT sequence: it looks like a collision of two realities – European cinema decimated by American action.

They say that Queen Amidala likes to wander our streets incognito.

If I will ever bump into her, I will ask her why “a long time ago in a Galaxy far far away” the most intelligent creatures spoke English with New York accent.

P.S. I didn't like Luc Besson's Fifth Element at all. All right, you asked for positive information.
